The following video was recorded at the Tizen Developer Conference last week in San Francisco. Tomasz Olszak is an Open Source enthusiast and talks about Qt for Tizen, which is a project that was founded in May 2013. He talks about the history of Qt when Nokia bought it in 2008, its acquisition by Digia in 2011, and through to the present day of Qt 5.3 being released last month.
Qt currently supports the following platforms Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Android, iOS, Blackberry, Sailfish OS, Win RT, VxWorks, INTEGRITY and QNX. There are also Community ports to Amiga OS, Ubuntu, Amazon Kindle DX, webOS, OS/2, Haiku and OpenSolaris. Qt can be used under the following Licensing Models LGPL 2.1, GPL 3.0,Qt Enterprise and Qt Mobile.
